Settings
Your account, how Mosaic looks, and the workspace settings that are not in Settings.
Two things live here: your own account, and how Mosaic looks to you. Anything that belongs to the workspace has deliberately been moved out.
#Account
Name — what colleagues see beside your activity.
Email is read-only, and the reason is stated rather than hidden:
Your sign-in identity. Changing it is an account migration rather than a profile edit, so it is not editable here.
Password requires your current one, and:
Changing it signs you out everywhere else, which is the fix for "I think somebody has my password".
That requirement is also why an administrator cannot use the reset route on themselves.
Avatar — optional. Without a picture, your initials sit on a colour you choose.
#Appearance
Theme — light or dark, saved with your account so it follows you to another machine.
Tab bar — off by default: "The tree already says where you are."
Welcome — whether the introduction page opens.
#Keys
API keys, for admins. See The HTTP API.
#Licence
Not here — under Tenancy. See Licence and plan.
#Workspace settings are elsewhere
Renaming or deleting a workspace is not a setting of yours the way your theme is, so it lives on the workspace screen instead.
Time zone — the calendar the workspace keeps. It decides the hour a schedule fires, what TODAY and YESTERDAY mean inside a query, which day a run counts towards on the Overview, and the times shown beside a run. Everyone in the workspace sees dates the same way, and schedules are re-booked in the new zone as soon as you save.
AI features — an owner's switch:
Off by default, and off for everybody in the workspace until an owner turns it on.
Retail Pack, where the licence includes it.
Deleting a workspace is an owner's, and it asks you to type the name:
Every check, data source, app, schedule and run in it goes at the same time. Nothing here can be recovered afterwards.
